Course Description
The focus of this course is to help students gain confidence in writing and learn to appreciate the different writing styles and perspectives of a variety of authors. Literature and reading consists of reading comprehension, literary analysis, and literary vocabulary. Writing consists of both in class and out of class assignments, process-based writing, and research. All writing will support the correct use of grammar, usage, mechanics, conventions, and vocabulary. Students will learn how to prepare and deliver formal presentations.
