Affording Aquinas

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
The generosity of our alumni and friends helps us to achieve our goal of making an Aquinas High School education affordable for those who want the best for their children.
Aquinas High School utilizes the services of FACTS Business Solutions for Education to determine financial need. The FACTS Grant & Aid Application is returned directly to the company, not the school, and must include all the required paperwork and processing fee. Only one FACTS application per family should be completed each year.

Aquinas Tuition Assistance
Students who have a demonstrated financial need may receive tuition assistance. The dollar amounts of the awards vary based on financial need and must be applied for each year. In order to be considered for assistance in the first round of awards, the FACTS Grant & Aid Application is due March 15, 2022.

GRACE Scholarship Program
The eligibility requirements, as defined by the GRACE Scholars website are italicized below:

To be eligible for a GRACE award, a student must meet all eligibility requirements contained in the law under which we operate, and must meet all admission requirements set by the Catholic school of choice.
  • To qualify, all students must be a resident of Georgia and those entering second grade and above must have attended a Georgia public school immediately prior to receiving a scholarship. Those students enrolling in an accredited Pre-K program, Kindergarten or first grade do not have to transfer from a Georgia public school.

The Georgia public school attendance requirement may be waived in the following cases:
  1. A student who is assigned to a public school that the Office of Student Achievement determines to be low-performing based on the school attendance zone of his or her primary residence, or
  2. A student is the subject of officially documented cases of school based physical violence or student related verbal abuse threatening harm, or
  3. A student was enrolled in an official home study program for at least one year immediately prior to receiving a scholarship under this law.
The dollar amount of the award varies based on financial need and must be applied for each year. Applicants must complete both the FACTS Grant & Aid Application and the GRACE Scholarship Application.
Diocesan Financial Aid
Students of African-American, Hispanic, or Native American descent who also have a demonstrated financial need may qualify for tuition assistance from the Diocese of Savannah. Student ethnicity must be indicated on the FACTS Grant & Aid Application and all paperwork must be submitted by March 15, 2022.

Parish Assistance
Many parishes offer tuition assistance to registered, active parishioners who are enrolled at Aquinas High School. Check availability and procedures with your pastor.
