Works of Mercy

Dear Parents and Students of Aquinas,

The Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy are ways that our Catholic faith has directed us in matters of service to God and His people. The Corporal Works are concerned with the material needs of others and the Spiritual Works are concerned with the spiritual needs of others.

Each student is required to perform at least 5 Work of Mercy opportunities with a total of at least 10 combined hours.  Three of the opportunities must be campus ministry sponsored and two may be on your own. To find campus ministry sponsored opportunities see the section below titled, "Works of Mercy Opportunities."

Please do not hesitate to ask for my help. I will be happy to help you get started.

In Jesus,
Michael Lammers
