Welcome to College Counseling. Our college counselor will help students think about their possible academic majors and careers, consider and organize priorities for their college experience, and research the many college options available. Working together with parents, students, coaches, and teachers, our college counselor provides support and assistance to the next phase of “applying to college.” Students benefit from assistance in completing applications, writing essays and submitting applications to the colleges of their choice.
The College Counselor also provides to the community:
- Junior and Senior Parent Information Nights and college planning timelines
- Presentations to students and families
- Scheduling the visits of College Admissions Representatives to our campus
- Individual student and family meetings regarding the college application process

College-bound student-athletes who want to compete for Division I or II programs at member schools must be certified academically (and also as an amateur) by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Eligibility Center.Interested students should register with the Eligibility Center in their junior year of high school and meet with a high school counselor to ensure core academic requirements are being met.
