College Counseling
College Counseling
Welcome to College Counseling. Our college counselor will help students think about their possible academic majors and careers, consider and organize priorities for their college experience, and research the many college options available. Working together with parents, students, coaches, and teachers, our college counselor provides support and assistance to the next phase of “applying to college.” Students will be assisted with the part of the process which includes filling out applications, brainstorming, writing and revising essays, and ensuring that all of the steps necessary to submit applications are taken to pursue higher education.
The College Counselor also provides to the community:
- Presentations to the Senior Seminar about the application process
- Junior and Senior Parent Information Nights and college planning timelines
- Presentations to students and families
- Scheduling the visits of College Admissions Representatives to our campus
- Individual student and family meetings regarding the college application process
