Clubs and Activities

Although academics are important, high school is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. More than 90% of our students are involved in at least one extracurricular activity, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether a student is interested in performance or studio arts, or enjoys the challenge of Chess, or perhaps wants to be more involved with the community through our Interact Club, we have an outlet for that. There is truly a place for everyone at Aquinas.

Art Club

Art Club gives students the opportunity to explore a variety of media while working on individual and group projects.

Creative Writing

In the Creative Writing Club, students explore the various techniques and processes involved in creative writing. They also share and discuss their writing with one another in a collaborative effort to learn and grow as writers.

Chess Club

In chess club, students learn the basics or improve their skills. Fall and spring tournaments allow us to compete against other local schools.

Drama Club

Our drama club has performed one-act plays, longer dramatic pieces. and many musicals over the years. Each year is different depending on student interest and talent!

French Club

Our club meets monthly, gathering students who share a passion for the French language and culture. Our officers lead, plan, and implement each meeting.

We look forward to hands-on experiences where we will prepare and enjoy authentic Francophone cuisine. We also celebrate French holidays, watch short-films, live-stream French sporting events, and play Francophone games.

Join us in our quest to embrace the “Joie de Vivre” and expand our horizons together. À bientôt!

Gaming Club

Do you enjoy video games?  How about board games?  The Gaming Club has it all!  We look forward to seeing you there!

Interact Club

Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club that gives our students an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. The basic principle of the Rotary Interact is to help others. This group meetings about twice a month and performs 2-4 service projects per year.

In preparation for and throughout the course of the Model UN Conference, held at the University of Georgia, students will be engaged in debate concerning the most pressing international issues in current affairs. Involvement also provides the opportunity for students to develop public speaking and research skills in a forum that fosters relationship building and diplomacy. Click HERE for more information.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Click HERE for more information.

Pro-Life Club

The Pro-Life Club travels to Washington, D.C. every year for the March for Life.  They also regularly pray for the defense of life from conception until natural death.

Spanish Club

Spanish Club meets monthly and is open to all students who are interested in learning about the different aspects of the Hispanic culture through food, arts, and entertainment.  Students in Spanish Club help plan the International Festival, a yearly celebration that highlights the diversity of our community and exposes students to different cultures and traditions.
